Meet the customer – Bartrums Group Ltd

We recently caught up with Bartrums Group to find out about their significant recent investment towards a brand-new warehouse, which also coincided with the delivery of several new Actros L 2545’s from their most recent order of 16, supplied by Motus Truck & Van.

Bartrums are a well-established, diversified, haulage and storage operation located near the Suffolk town of Eye. Founded in 1929, Bartrums has been committed to providing a quality logistics service, and consequently, requires both quality and reliable trucks.

Our relationship first began in 1999 when Bartrums approached Motus Truck & Van (At the time Orwell Truck & Van) to make their first purchase. Ever since, the relationship has grown stronger and stronger. Rob Dale, Truck Fleet Sales Manager at Motus Truck & Van, stated “We have dealt with Bartrums since 1999 and have been supplying them with roughly 10-20 vehicles per year ever since” and this will hopefully continue for many years to come.

The latest Actros L 2545 6x2 arctic units equipped with microwaves, rear wall lockers, and MirrorCam joined their existing truck fleet of over 100 and maintain Bartrums 100% dedicated Mercedes-Benz fleet.
