Jet Express demonstrate their passion for F1 with a Lewis Hamilton-themed Actros

We recently caught up with Jet Express, a time-critical logistic solutions company based in Wolverhampton to film their incredible Lewis Hamilton themed Actros truck 

• We spoke with Justin Edwards - Managing Director at Jet Express and asked him a few questions about their business and the special edition truck.

   

  Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about what Jet Express does?

  I’m Justin, Managing Director of Jet Express. Jet Express is a time-critical logistics service based in the West Midlands, specialising in same day and next day delivery in the UK and Europe. We also offer services in storage, freight forwarding and container handling.

  Our main aim is always to transport consignments for our customers in the safest, fastest way possible so they arrive on time, first time, every time.

• Tell us how the idea came about for this Lewis Hamilton F1 Truck?

  We’ve always been huge Formula 1 fans here at Jet Express and particularly admire Lewis Hamilton for his endless passion and determination. We wanted a truck that represented these qualities as we try to embody them as much as we can within our company.

  
  What work has gone into making this truck what it is today?

  It took an entire year to get from the initial idea to the finished truck! We worked with a brilliant design company, Mack Graphics, to get our ideas down on paper. They then went away and turned our ideas into a fantastic, eye-catching design that encompassed everything that Lewis Hamilton stands for.

  The final part of the process – wrapping the truck – was our favourite. It was great to see all our hard work come together in a design that has turned plenty of heads over the last few weeks since it’s been out on the roads! It’s brilliant having it as part of the Jet Express fleet.
